Yet Another Garden Post

Hi everybody!  Another garden tour for you today.  Do you remember my post last week about garden ornaments?  This is part of the same garden.  It's a charming little water garden, with some really cute inhabitants.

Look closely at the edges of the pool.  Do you see who I'm talking about?  Wait,  I'll show you a closer peek in a minute.

In the meantime, don't you love this little garden structure?  What fun would it be to sit here and listen to the water, and gaze at this lovely garden?

See who is peeping out from under the fountain?  Frog and Toad!  (Or maybe Frog and Frog...  I'm not really an expert here.)

And look at this charming fountain in the surrounding shade garden.  I guess someone in this garden loves frogs.

And really, what's not to love?  ;)

  1. Really enjoyed the garden tour.Guess one could sit little garden structure for hours...the founains are really cute:)Thanks for sharing.

  2. It's beautiful. Joni Mitchell got it right when she wrote:

    We are stardust
    We are golden
And we've got to get ourselves
    Back to the garden

  3. Lovely for certain. I think the frogs bring a wonderful element of humor.

  4. What a beautiful place to sit and relax. Thanks for bringing it to us.

  5. The frogs are such cuties:>) I love the froth of forget-me-nots around the birdbath!

  6. Thanks for the tour. It all is just beautiful! Have a great day!

  7. I love Frog and Toad, but really they are not the most attractive of creatures. Beautiful garden!

  8. Oh, you would have to drag me away from this garden, a pond, and a frog and toad. You would have to drag me kicking and well kicking away from this tranquil spot.

    This is my dream pond.

  9. that's it, that's my dream garden. I love it.

  10. Thanks for the lovely tour. I have a pond and water garden and hear the frogs croak and jump in, but can never get a picture of one. Maybe I don't sit still long enough.

  11. I love garden posts and would never tire of them!! This is lovely and makes me smile!! I can't wait for us to get our back yard done. I will be so thrilled there will probably be many posts on it. Won't happen for a couple more months, though!!

    Have a great day,

  12. Hi Mary -- the holiday weekend was lovely here; fairly quiet but our kids were here, and some of their friends, which was fun. I miss having a house full.

Are those little frogs under the turtle real? How did you get them to pose so nicely? :-)

Lovely dreamy garden scene -- thanks!

  13. I could sit and read for hours there. The "wee ones" are just too cute!

    Thanks for sharing.

  14. It's not easy being green, but living in such a beautiful place surely must help! Thanks for the tour.
