Just Noodling

Good morning, everyone! How are you today? It's quiet here this morning -- the kids are still abed and my husband ran into the office for awhile... so I'm noodling around in Photoshop and "wasting" time.

It's only partly sunny here this morning, and very humid. I'm thinking we will be getting some thunderstorms later this afternoon. The photo above was taken earlier in the month, and I just played with it a little bit to add the sun flares. This is what I do with my free time. Some of you knit, some of you quilt, some of you paint... I play with my camera and Photoshop. :)

Have a wonderful weekend, dear bloggers! I hope you all have some time to just noodle around. ;)

Won't you please join me for Mosaic Monday this week? I always love to see what you've been up to, and what beautiful images you have to share! The new linky thingy will be up by 8:30 pm Eastern Time USA, Sunday night. Hope to see you then! :)

  1. Hi Mary...
I would love some "Noodle" time! I'll get it soon enough... I have my grandkiddos this week... When they go home its gets way too quiet around here... I miss them living with me full time. But I also miss "noodle time" you don't get much of that with 3 grandkiddos under the age of 6 around!
Give or take... feast or famine...

    Have a great week end!

  2. Hi Mary, Also very quite here, but I am in the quilting room and when I take I break I come to see what everyone else is doing. Love the shot you played with in Photoshop. Take care.

  3. Hey Mary, I love your noodles...not sure if I'll be able to noodle around this weekend...but we have lots planned.
    Have a great weekend.

  4. Hi,
I am looking at blogs, when I should be:doing the laundry, cleaning the bathrooms,... this is just too much fun! My housework has taken a major hit since I discovered blogs! :)

  5. I have noodled all morning. :D
    Enjoy your weekend.

  6. Noodling. My favorite sport.
    Have a lovely, noodly weekend!

  7. How wonderful you have a hobby and talent to fill your free weekend moments! Have a great one. The photo is lovely! Susan

  8. Taking a break from bear making and noodling around the web to see what the creative bloggers are up to.

  9. Lovely shot, like the angle. Thanks for the comment on my photos.

  10. Beautiful mary. I wish I had even a teeny tiny clue how to play around with photos!

  11. I recognize that action! it's one of my favorites. :)

    great processing

  12. Sun Flares?? I'm doing good just getting the picture into PhotoShop and then printing them. You're my Hero!!!

  13. Hi Mary, guess I am a tight wad, but I could once use Photoshop for free and now I can't because they want to sell me something. Am I missing something, or do they only allow limited free excess. thanks if you can answer. My e-mail is on my profile. See you Monday on MM.

  14. It's lovely! I have a weakness for sun flares and am often pointing my camera up, up, up, so I can get them.

I couldn't even begin to figure out how to add them with photoshop so I'm impressed!

  15. Love the photograph - so clever

  16. I am glad you noodled today and produced this lovely, rainy day picture for us! I don't knit, quilt or paint but I do enjoy gardening, so I might have to break down and get Photoshop to improve my point and shoot photos!

  17. ...and some are blogging. Just made my first Monday Mosaic. Thanks a lot for this fine creative tip.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment. I love to hear what you have to say!
