Happy March!

It's March! I'm so excited. (Yes, it doesn't take much to excite me...) No, these daffodils are not from my garden -- we have a few more weeks before we will see any daffodils in my part of New Jersey -- but I think my supermarket can tell when I need a little pick-me-up. ;)

We have had a few warm days in a row (in the 40's and 50's) and, of course, each day is just a little bit longer than the one before. It's amazing how much happier and more energetic I become with the growing light. Do you find that happens to you, too?

I've bought a new vacuum, cleaned out closets and drawers, tidied all the shelves in our bedroom cabinets with canvas containers, and found a small ottoman which fits under the desk in our tiny den, giving us more room in this very small space.

Suddenly, my house is sparkling, and I'm planning all sorts of decorating schemes, from painting my bedroom dresser to a total redo of the family room!

Isn't it amazing what a little golden light can do? Happy March, dear bloggers!

  4. A little golden light AND a new vacuum cleaner can work miracles. Oh, and a very discerning staff at the supermarket. Sounds as if this is going to be a busy spring for you and yours!

  10. Daffodils are such a lovely sign of spring. That's a good idea to buy some cut daffodils if Spring is not just around the corner.

  11. You always have wonderful photos, but your last two posts have been over-the-top beautiful. You can't get much better than daffodils & hyacinths -- maybe throw in some tulips!

  20. Mary, I was in raptures over this post - especially because of the first photo. I LOVE pretty wallpaper.

I do wonder, what lens did you use to take these? Do you mind sharing? I've been a bit stuck, lately, because I don't want to take the 60mm off - it has such a lovely quality but, I'm always backed into a corner because I really need a wider angle and a more expansive view. Finally, yesterday, I put the kit lens back on and it was so refreshing and it does take lovely photos but, now, I'm starting to think towards a new zoom. Since it takes me a good year to get there, I thought that I'd start now.... =] Do you use Canon?

Well, I hope that you don't mind me asking this big ol' question, here, in the comment section. I know that you can respond with an email. =]

    Love, Katy
