Mosaic Monday: Merry Christmas

Our mantel at Christmas has been the same every year since my kids were little.  It's a tradition they will not allow me to change, no matter how much I need to stretch my creative wings.  I'm just happy they are both home with us to celebrate the season.  From our house to yours -- a very merry Christmas, and much joy in the coming year!  xoxo

Here are the instructions to join today's post:

  6. A beautiful mantlepiece Mary. Sometimes I think the family traditions are what binds us together - memories from the past that carry through to the future. I wish you and yours a safe and joyous Christmas. Thank you for hosting Mosaic Monday and giving us a platform for us to share and be inspired.

  7. Your mantel is absolutely gorgeous, Mary! I LOVE that clock!! I like tradition, and I never liked for my mom to change things too much, either. :)

  8. It looks wonderful...why mess with a good thing? My son had the same teacher for three years. He used to be slightly annoyed with her when she changed things up at all. A real creature of habit he is. I see that your children are the same...it must provide continuity and comfort. Merry Christmas to you and thank you for another wonderful year of Mosaic Mondays!
